These Nush-y dessert recipes couldn’t be easier (or more delicious).
Hurray! It’s summer (pretty much) and we get to spend more time in the out-of-doors, which we know is so incredibly important to both physical and mental health (especially mental!).
It also means less time indoors, and hopefully, less time slaving over a hot stove, which is not my favorite thing 🙂
So I wanted to share with you a few of our favorite quick and easy recipes for low-carb desserts that you can make with Nush cakes.
Nush Banana-Nut Cake Balls. Whip 1 cup of cream. By hand, mix with 4 Banana Nut Nush cakes. Form into balls. Roll each ball in melted Lily’s Extra Dark chocolate, and sprinkle with crushed walnuts before the chocolate sets.
Nush Carrot-Maple Waffles. Put a Carrot Spice Nush cake into a waffle iron sprayed with non-stick spray. When hot and crispy, remove the cake, butter it, and drizzle with Lakanto sugar-free maple syrup.
Nush Almond-Berry Parfait. Whip ½ cup cream, sweetened with a non-sugar sweetener and a dash of almond extract. Crumble 1 Cherry Almond Nush cake and toss with 6 each blueberries and raspberries. In a drinking glass or jelly jar, layer whipped cream with the Nush/berry mix, two times each.
